Today I was making a retrospective of events in SEO world and I remembered about the updates that hit so bad most of the websites and changed forever the way webmaster build links. The game is now harder but the rewards are also good.  What I was shocked to see was that instead of doing better seo a lot of webmaster simply quit building backlinks following what Matt Cuts. He said  – don’t focus on SEO. Oh well thats what he want us to do paying good money on adward rather than optimizing our websites.

I have many online friends that are still getting top ranking using scrapebox and making regular seo work. What they done to succeed was to change the way they did SEO before. Let me explain:

• Diversify your text anchors – If you check  most of the websites that gain natural backlinks you will see that have various anchors. And that’s normal coz when someone link your page will not do it with your keywords in mind but with a text that is part of his article or your website name .etc Various anchor you will find are: www.Websitename.com , website.com, click here, read this, on this website etc. So now update your text file with anchor text to make it look natural.   A good percentage is to have around 30% general urls of your site with variations, 30% general keywords and 40% related anchor keywords you want to rank for.

• Remove duplicate domains when link to money site Google do not really like sitewide backlinks or blogroll backlinks. Do not really know why but you should better remove duplicate domains if you post auto approve directly to your money/main site.
• Diversify your backlinks type  If you focus only on creating blog posts , blog backlinks or article submission or bookmarking only will not look good (read unnatural) for google so most of the backlinks will not be counted and if you build thousands you may even receive a backlinking unnatural process and a penality. So mix your backlinking strategies adding wikis, web 2.0, bookmaring sites , video – very important you should add some youtube videos as well – google trust his own child doesn’t ??! • Quality Over Quantity Rule for Money Site Backlinks - You need to take care of what kind of backlinks you are building to the money/main site. Too many with low quality hosted on same IP etc can do more harm than good. That’s why you have to build your best bakclinks on Tier 1 – backlinks to money site. Niche Related Lists

Now if on tier 1 you want to use only related auto approve blogs you can simply create a niche related list by removing all other backlinks – I’m thinking to create a software for you so you will enter a list of keywords and the tool will remove all other urls that do not contain any keyword from the list. Doing it by hand that’s what i got

Test Niche 2 – Seo

seo – 271 urls
backlink -111 urls

Test Niche 3 – travel

travel – 966 urls
holiday – 244 urs
hotel – 355 urls
I’ve only used several keywords related to that niche. I’m sure that if you do some research you can come up with atleast 10-20 related keywords for each niche. My point here is that you can easily get around 3000-4000 niche related autoapprove urls from each monthly list. In my opinion this should be more than enough for tier 1 backlinking every month.

Note: I have not counted the auto approve trackbacks, slow poster and moderated lists. This results are only from the Auto Approve Main List. If you use all lists I’m sure you can double or even triple it.

Just be smart – there is nothing more to explain, all you need to do is creating a seo plan and follow it.
